JS high-output alternators with the smaller 1.75" (45mm) pulley typically need a belt ½" shorter than factory. The factory tensioner marks are your best confirmation.

Note the Effective Length
Find the field labeled:

Subtract ½ Inch
Subtract 0.5" from that number — this is your new target belt length.

Confirm with Tensioner Marks
After install, the tensioner should sit in the same position as with your OEM belt — not too loose, not too tight.
